I'm still double checking that this is accurate, but I did finally find a link to the current Valley Con events page:

They are showing a Rogue Trader tournament with room for 12 players at the moment.

I'm assuming that it's going to actually be using the 5th edition rules although all of the linked information is referencing the 4th edition rules still.

Received word that the tournament will indeed be using the 5th Edition rules and that the new Space Marines code will be in effect.
