Sushi is as much fun to prepare as it is to eat in Wasabi! The sushi bar is open for demo 7 days a week.

Hello all

Been a while since I've had time to roll through town, but it looks like it should happen some time soon.  Is there any interest in getting a demo of Monsterpocalypse going at the shop?  I've got plenty of stuff and am more than willing to do a demo day.  I can most likely tie the visit in with a trip for work so can do it on a week night without any problems.

What hours is the store open these days and is there a prefered day of the week for something like this?

If your not sure what the game is follow this link for more information.

I just ran a booster draft event here in Fargo today and it went over really well.

Let me know what you all think.

We are actually holding Monsterpocalypse demos/tournaments on Tuesdays, from what I understand (I don't work on Tuesdays, so my info may be unreliable here.) However, we certainly wouldn't mind more players showing up, and if you'd like to schedule a time to run a demo on a different day, feel free to call in (323-7842) and let us know when you are thinking.

We are typically open between 10 AM and 7 PM each day. The doors are usually actually open til 9~10 PM, but our official closing time is 7 PM. The only time we actually close at 7 is if whoever is closing is horribly sick.

So how is interest going so far with it?

Did the store order a launch kit or sign up as official venue and all that other stuff?

There's been lots of interest, but with ValleyCon coming up, a lot of people are holding on to their money rather than investing into a new game. There's quite a few people who have expressed a desire to get into it once ValleyCon is over, though.

People actually go to Valley con?  I didn't think that happened any more.  I've given up on anything gaming related there.  They have made it almost impossible to run any kind of event in the past couple of years.  To the point that I've stopped even trying to talk to them any more about doing one.  Be interesting to hear how it goes this year.

Might there be anyone with Monpoc stuff to trade this coming Tuesday?  I've got a few spare monsters I'd like to trade out.  I'm looking for Zor Max and the Cthul that starts with Y.

For spares I have a Terrakhan, Defender X, and Zor radin.

I think I will be in Bismarck next week Tuesday for work.  I will post up here again once I know for sure and to double check that it pays for me to stick around and visit the shop before heading back to Fargo.

I can almost guarantee that Andrew and Nathan will be around on Tuesday night with their Monsterpocalypse stuff, not sure who else but those two for certain.

Good to know.  If something changes and I'm not headed that way Tuesday I will post something up here.

Thanks

I should be there tomorrow night unless some emergency comes up and I have to hustle back to Fargo.
