How can we liven up the boards?

I am looking to you, our current members for help.  The boards are dead.  We need people posting and new members joining.  What I am asking is for you guys to help get us more people on the boards.  Remind your game group to hop on and register, post your game updates here, share stories about what has happened in your games.  The only way the website will succeed is if we start using it for what it is meant for, friendly banter and jabs at eachother.

Obviously I am not asking people to flame eachother, or to post their favorite illegal or adult only sites, but there are plenty of topics available to us if not gaming without having to hit Warez and Porn.  Let's see what we can do to get this place going and enlarge our little gaming community.

Completely agree Jon, we really need to get this up and going,

if we can turn this into something that people will actually look at, it will make everything that much better centralized..

lets  put up something in the store like on the calendar so that people will actually know that we are doing this,

because one of the more known Yu-gi-oh players had no idea that we even have a site...

i will do what i can to try and advertise that we have a forum

Perhaps you could use the boards to say... RSVP tournaments, and what not, and get a small discount if you do? Just a suggestion.

making up signs for the site addy and posting them in the game rooms and main store front wouldn't hurt. put something by the register and wall calendar for certain.

and actually post up news to this. that may help. the whole "keep it current" thing and all...

Isn't there a giant banner for the forums over the doorway to the game room, next to the giant calander?

was just there tuesday, if there is, it isn't very obvious. and having more than 1 sign is never a bad thing. hell, one on the window facing outside wouldn't be bad either.

Yeah there is a black and white sign printed on paper above the entrance to the mid room from the front, but it's not very noticeable though, I would like to see signs posted up on the door and what not I think they would get some attention, or perhaps make some t-shirts or hoodies with the company logo, and the website on it

With any luck we'll be launching a redesign of the site soon. Patty and I are planning to work on it over the weekend, if we get the time to. Once the new site goes live, we'll start throwing up more signs about it.
